The Mansion
The Missouri Mansion is an idyllic private villa situated in the heart of Meknes close to the picturesque town of Fes. The villa boasts its own swimming pool, clay tennis court, beautifully kept gardens and wonderful terraces with spectacular views of the cities olive groves and vine yards.
The villa represents a successful fusion of authentic Moroccan décor and contemporary Mediterranean style. Traditional building and decoration techniques are used to great effect with intricate plasterwork and mosaic tiling contributing to the luxurious atmosphere.
45 Minutes from Fez Airport, 5 Minutes from Meknes Town with regular budget flights leaving from London. Go online to either ryanair or easyjet to see the next possible flight to Fez Airport!
Inside the Mansion
The communal areas of the house invite you to make yourself at home with two lounging areas on the ground floor and a third in the basement. All three lounges offer their own characteristic twist on Moroccan furnishing and traditional design. The main living room burgeons with life with artistic ornaments that can be discovered at one of the cities many bazaars or markets. The second living room boasts a home cinema with hifi and all gaming consoles, ideal for a family night in. Also situated on the ground floor is a fully equipped open spaced kitchen for your own personal use or for our in house chef to prepare you a traditional Moroccan meal.
The Bedrooms
The villa has 5 spacious double bedrooms including one with en-suite and two with balconies overlooking the villas elegant gardens. The rooms are fully air conditioned and each have a safe so you can feel at ease leaving your personal belongings at home while you venture out into the city. Each room is decorated to match the Moroccan architecture and design of the Mansion. Filled with various items made in the local town of Meknes all organised ready for your arrival! All beds come with bedding, pillows etc so there is no need to worry about any of that!
Outside
The Missouri Mansion is as beautiful outside as it is inside. While the swimming pool takes center stage there are also plenty other activities that can keep adults and children occupied for hours. As well as a tennis court you can also play football, badminton, volleyball and even basketball. However if relaxing is more your idea of a holiday you can choose to put your feet up and enjoy the sun on one of our sun loungers. Also if dining outside is your preference be sure to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner served on our beautifully kept dinner table overlooking the pool.
The outdoor facilities are great, played tennis in the morning then went for a swim, quick kick around then we had a nice lunch on the patio.
